Senior VP Operations

James Hill joined BWC Terminals in March 2024. James provides over 16 years of terminal and logistics expertise to the organization. Prior to joining BWC, James was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Associated Asphalt where he oversaw thirty-five (35) facilities, leading the organization’s Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Operations, Technical, Information and Technology, Logistics, and Transportation teams. Before joining Associated Asphalt, James served ten years with Kinder Morgan in various leadership roles. Before entering the corporate workforce, James served 17 years in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer, both as an Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer. James remains an active member of the Army Reserves.

James received his bachelor’s degree (Management Information Systems) from Drexel University and holds a master’s degree (Engineering Management – Civil) from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a master’s degree (Strategic Studies) from the U.S. Army War College.
