Adam Smith

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Adam Smith was named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BWC Terminals in August 2024. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Company.

Adam Smith joined BWC Terminals in April 2019 as the Director of Operations. Adam has an extensive background in operations management, managing bulk liquid and dry storage terminals throughout the US. He previously worked as the Vice President of Operations for Limetree Bay Terminals in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Prior to that, Adam worked for Kinder Morgan Terminals for 13 years, starting as a Terminal Manager and being promoted to Vice President of Operations with direct responsibility for 16 terminal operations.

Adam served as an Armor Officer in the US Army from 2000-2006 in various roles and locations, including a tour in the Republic of Korea, and two combat tours in Iraq. He is the recipient of several awards and commendations, including two Bronze Star Medals.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Eastern Area Studies from the US Military Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from Nicholls State University.
